I

This house has stood in Old Norq for more than 170 years.

The elders of the neighborhood still remember. This was the cellar of Hovhannes Derdzakyan. The men of Old Norq gathered here to drink wine, to talk, to celebrate. It was the heart of the quarter.

The cellar is still here. So is the family.

Today we open its doors and invite you in. Come sit in the garden. Go down to the cellar. Stay as long as you like. Celebrate life and history with us.

Old Norq, Yerevan. Friday to Sunday.

Memory
[noun]

What was lost. What was saved. What grew.

People have been knocking on this door for over a century. For wine, for food, for friendship, through grief and celebration.

Generations of this family have lived in this house through genocide, revolution, war and the making of modern Armenia. The cellar held wine. The garden comforted. Their story carries echoes of every Armenian family that survived the 20th century, and some things that belong only to this house and Old Norq.

Explore the property at your own pace. The 170-year-old vaulted cellar, family documents from the 1800s, photographs of four generations, and artifacts from a life built and rebuilt on the same ground. Open for self-guided discovery during all regular hours.

Told in Armenian, English, and Russian.
